Cheese Counter

No longer is there a need to pine for the lovingly displayed cheeses in continental shops. Halsey’s cheese counter is as good as any in the world and (as one smitten customer said) ‘should be awarded stars from Visit Britain’!

For a start, the range is ever-changing to reflect seasonality. Where quality cheese can be sourced locally (like Wobbly Bottom goat’s cheese – 2 miles away) it will be. And Damian and Kirsty are always seeking & sampling new varieties from all over the UK and Europe to tempt their customers.

It’s unusual to have a choice of less than 80 varieties at any time, there’s always expert advice on hand .. and you’ll even find something appropriate when celebrating , as good Europeans, national days like Bastille and Burns.
