The Deli is the heart of Halseys - and GW Halsey, who founded the business in 1854, would be mightily proud of what Damian and Kirsty have achieved since 2006.

A cheese counter as good as you'll find anywhere in the world, reflecting the seasons, continually updated and including excellent local produce. The best quality cooked meats from the UK and Europe; pies, pasties and even hard-to-find treats like faggots, haslet and brawn. Fresh fruit and vegetables in season, almost all sourced locally and with 'road miles' displayed.

A spectacular range of locally made cakes and treats. Artisan made products like local jams, pickles and chutneys; an amazing range of garlic-fuelled preparations (We're now officially addicted!); biscuits, flours and pastas. More than 40 teas, 20 coffees, fruit teas, flavoured coffees, decaffeinated varieties and yummy soft drinks.
